Moira Lamond

Moira is an MST Consultant at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. Moira has provided MST consultation to teams in the Midlands, Scotland, the Republic of Ireland and France.

Moira joined MST in 2005 as a therapist on the UK’s first randomised control trial of MST at the Brandon Centre in London. She then went on to become the MST supervisor for the pilot of MST substance use (CM) in the UK and a clinical trial of MST (PSB) for youth engaging in harmful sexual behaviour.

Moira has over 30 years’ experience working with young people displaying severe behavioural difficulties having previously worked in Haringey Youth Offending Teams in various roles for 14 years. She also lectured in Criminology on the Youth Justice Pathway at the University of East London over a 10-year period. She has a particular interest in the behavioural management of children with a clinical diagnosis of ADHD. While working at the Brandon Centre she co-wrote and facilitated a NICE compliant Parent Management Training group for parents of children with ADHD, in association the National Attention Deficit Disorder Information and Support Service. (ADDISS).
