Dr Martin Robinson

After completing training in clinical psychology, Martin worked in Nottingham specialising with Teenagers and children with learning difficulties and severe challenging.  He then moved to supervisor the Multisystemic Therapy (MST) team in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, a specialist team working with young people and families on the edge of care due to offending behaviour. He also lead the CAMHS service.  Following this, Martin moved to be part of the national team providing consultation to the UK MST teams and developing further teams.  

Martin has provided consultation and training to teams across Europe, and the rest of the world.  In 2017 Martin took on a role as the UK based consultant for MST-CAN, an evidence-based intervention provided to families where the children are on the edge of care due to the existence of child abuse and neglect.  These teams offer EBI to families to address correlates of CAN, including treatment for trauma, Substance use interventions and family therapy.  

Martin works with teams in the UK and Europe including; Newcastle, Leeds and Norway.  Martin has provided training in MST-CAN to teams in the UK, Australia and Europe.

Martin lives and works from Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
